The victim this time was a 58-year-old woman who was shot dead in the chest near the corner of Van Houten and Summer streets shortly before 9:30 p.m., responders said.

Diane Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene moments later.

Five shots in all were fired, bystanders said.

It was unclear whether the shooter had been caught or a suspect identified.

A shooting occurred at the same corner just five nights earlier.
